DR Amar Dhaliwal, M.D. has 6+ years of specialized experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of eye conditions. He is the founder of Washington Vital Vision and practices comprehensive ophthalmology with an interest in refractive cataract surgery. He is a native of the Pacific Northwest, having grown up in Shoreline, Washington and attending Shorecrest High School. Following high school, he attended the BS/MD program at Wayne State University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biology. Thereafter, he completed his MD degree at the top-ranked University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine followed by ophthalmology residency at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. He is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS).
